II Campus de Selección de la Fundación Alberto Contador
La cadena de restaurantes italianos ‘La Mafia se sienta a la mesa’ será el patrocinador oficial del II Campus de Selección de la Fundación Alberto Contador, del que el año pasado salieron elegidos ocho corredores para integrar el equipo Flex-junior de esta temporada.
Dado que la franquicia de restaurantes ‘La Mafia se sienta a la mesa’ tiene su sede social en Zaragoza, esta ciudad será la que acoja el II Campus de Selección, que se desarrollará desde el día 3 al 5 del próximo mes de octubre, en las instalaciones del Hotel Zenit Don Yo de la capital aragonesa.
A partir de la publicación de esta convocatoria y hasta el próximo día 15 de septiembre, se podrán realizar las inscripciones al Campus 2014 en la página web de la Fundación Alberto Contador, http://junior.fundacioncontadorteam.com , al que en su primera edición, en 2013, se apuntaron más de un centenar de corredores. Entre los integrantes de esta primera lista se realizará la selección definitiva de los aproximadamente cuarenta asistentes al ‘training camp’ de Zaragoza, para lo cual no sólo se tendrá en cuenta el palmarés deportivo, sino también otra serie de factores, tales como las calificaciones escolares y los informes disponibles sobre la trayectoria de cada ciclista.
El equipo Flex-Fundación Alberto Contador, en el que este año están corriendo ocho corredores provenientes del Campus de Selección 2013, volverá a acoger a los seleccionados el próximo octubre, ya que sus ciclistas de segundo año darán el salto mayoritariamente al equipo Specialized-Sub 23, en el que de esta forma podrán continuar su carrera deportiva dentro de la escuela de la Fundación Alberto Contador.

The chain of Italian restaurants ‘The Mafia sits at the table’ will be the official sponsor of the II Selection Campus of Alberto Contador Foundation, which last year came out were elected eight riders to integrate Flex-junior team this season.

The Flex-Alberto Contador Foundation team, where this year are running eight riders from the Selection Campus 2013, will host the selected next October, as their sophomore cyclists will jump mainly to Specialized U23 team, which thus may continue their careers within the Alberto Contador Foundation school.
