This is the new jersey of the Alberto Contador Foundation for the season 2017

Polartec will be the title sponsor and next to it will be also on the jersey Look, Rotor, Skoda, Etixx and Kometa

culotte-2017The Alberto Contador Foundation celebrates the beginning of 2017 with a new jersey for its Under- 23 and Junior teams, in which the most important new feature is the presence of Polartec as the sole sponsor and sole supplier of both competitive and casual clothings, manufactured with its advanced and exclusive fabrics.

Together with Polartec, which has been committed to the Alberto Contador Foundation for the next two seasons, continues for the same period of time the bike manufacturer Look with its models 675 Light and 695 ZR, and the TT Bike 796 Monoblade. Alongside them will also be in the 2017 jersey the Spanish manufacturer of components Rotor, which this season reinforces its presence by equipping the Alberto Contador Foundation with its new hydraulic group UNO, whose teams become its exclusive developers.

While Etixx continues to occupy a privileged position as supplier of its product line and nutritional supplements, a new supplier of competition and transport vehicles, Skoda, will arrive at the Contador Foundation jersey in 2017, which will take charge of the entire fleet of Junior and U-23 teams, and the Italian manufacturer of food products Kometa.

Among the additions for the season 2017 also highlights the arrival of the Italians of Kask as new suppliers of helmets and glasses, as well as the confirmation of Gaerne as supplier of the competition shoes. Also noteworthy is the arrival of HP Sport Science, which is responsible for the preparation and complete follow-up of the entire roster of the Alberto Contador Foundation with a full team of trainers, doctors, psychologists and dietitians.

In addition to the sponsors already mentioned, the Alberto Contador Foundation celebrates the continuity in 2017 of most of its suppliers in previous seasons, such as Prologó as supplier of saddles, Sportlast (compression stockings and socks), Tacx (bottles and rollers), SciCon (bags of water and bicycles), Vision (wheels), Newton (powermeters), Training Peaks (training programs), Bompar (lubricants, detergents, etc.), Princess of Éboli (hotels), John Smith (sneakers and luggage bags) and Cardiosalus (medical tests).

Fran Contador, as manager of the Foundation and its cycling teams, celebrates the arrival of the new sponsors, who “come to consolidate a project that does not stop growing each year”, as well as the continuity of those who were already, “what is a real pride for us. Their continued support encourages us to continue working hard to maintain their trust. In particular, it is an honor for us that Polartec, with whom we have been collaborating since last season, exclusively assumes the sponsorship of our teams, which reinforces our aspirations to continue growing”, concludes Fran Contador.

By his part, Gary Smith, CEO of Polartec, LLC, is also very happy about the agreement for the next two seasons. “The decision to support and become Title Sponsor of the Foundation Contador Cycling Teams really started to formulate in my mind several years ago, when I first met Francisco and Alberto. There are a lot of places where any brand could place its sponsorship dollars and of course Alberto is a great champion and Francisco is his manager and they have achieved many successes but, more importantly to Polartec, they are very great people and the mission of the

Foundation Contador reflects that. It’s a great opportunity for Polartec to push the innovation of cycling technology alongside with the Contador brothers and the Foundation Team, and do it for a good cause that’s greater than anything we do”.
