The RH+/Polartec rubbed shoulders with the best in the Bernardeau Junior

The first international race of the season ended with a good performance in France of juniors directed by Guillermo Gutierrez, who played the Bernardeau Junior, top-category UCI race over 130 kilometers.

Claudio Clavijo, eighth, was the top-ranked in the sprint of the leading group, where only remained about 60 riders, after a very selective race in which the RH+/Polartec took over many times, proving to be among the best in the European peloton in this category.

“The pace was very fast,” he told after the race Claudio Clavijo, “but the team has always been on the breakaways, first with Tomeu Gelabert and Dani Rodriguez in a first group of about 12 riders, to which at the end another group arrived and finally, there has been a regrouping at the entrance of the final circuit, to which should give five laps.

All RH+/Polartec riders, except Hugo Sampedro, who paid the initial effort, managed to get into this first group, which would end up playing the victory. The Spaniards were in all attacks until the end, when in the last kilometer managed to leave the three French who occupied the podium while behind the group finished with a sprint in which Clavijo was eighth, followed by Carlos Alvarez (eleventh), Alejandro Ropero (twenty), Tomeu Gelabert (twenty-first) and Daniel Rodriguez (twenty-second).
