Antonio González finishes fifth in the time trial of the Spanish Championships of the category

Up to four riders of the youth structure of the Contador Foundation directed by Guillermo Gutiérrez took part this Friday morning in the time trial of the Spanish Championships in the youth category, which was held in the Madrid town of Cadalso de los Vidrios on a demanding circuit.

Antonio González from Soria, representing Castilla y León, was the best classified. Gonzalez finished fifth with a time of 22’23” and for some moments he remained on the podium of the race provisionally. In the time trial, with a time of 21’34”, the winner was Iván Romeo from Puebla. Hugo Aznar took the silver with 22’11” and Alberto Fernández, with 22’17”, the bronze.

As for the other runners from the Foundation, Lucas Guillermo from La Rioja finished with a time of 23’42”, the 22nd best time of the race. Miguel Ramos from Madrid finished 25th with 23’47” and David Gimeno from Cantabria 26th with 23’50”.
