El Flex Junior copó el podio en Fuenlabrada

En la primera parte de los 98 km del recorrido el pelotón rodó agrupado,hasta llegar a la zona central, en la que se sucedían tres subidas donde se decidió la suerte de la carrera. Los sucesivos ataques de los hombres del Flex dejaron el pelotón cabecero reducido a unos 40 corredores, mientras por delante se marchó Juan Bou en compañía de un corredor del Fenavin, seguido de un trío del Flex integrado por José Félix Parra, Claudio Clavijo y Gillém Cassú.

Sin embargo, a falta de 25 kilómetros para la meta se produjo un reagrupamiento general, lo que provocó nuevos ataques del Flex-Fundación Alberto Contador para intentar hacer la selección y, en caso contrario, preparar el sprint para el único hombre rápido que había metido delante, Claudio Clavijo.
