La Fundación Alberto Contador ha vivido un intenso fin semana con victorias tanto de los Sub 23 como de los Juniors, los primeros en la Vuelta a Sevilla y los más pequeños en la Vuelta a Valladolid. Con estos triunfos el Specialized de Rafa Díaz Justo suma ya seis victorias en su primera temporada en la categoría, mientras el Flex de Félix García Casas, ya en su segundo año, acumula nada menos que 24 triunfos en lo que va de campaña.

Los juniors corrieron este fin de semana la Vuelta a Valladolid, dividida en cuatro etapas. La clave estuvo en la contra reloj del sábado, sobre 6,5 kilómetros y con dos subidas sucesivas que la hicieron muy exigente y propicia a los escaladores. José Félix Parra aprovechó la circunstancia para conseguir su primer triunfo de la temporada, con 7 segundos de ventaja sobre su compañero Ángel Fuentes también en un gran estado de forma, que se colocaron en los primeros lugares de la general provisional. Hoy, último día de la ronda, la etapa se hizo durísima y muy difícil de controlar, con una escapada de una docena de hombres en la que se metió Daniel Viejo, situado a poco más de 30 segundos en la general. El triunfo final estuvo en peligro hasta el último kilómetro, salvando al final José Félix Parra su maillot por sólo 5 segundos, tras una espectacular persecución en la que unieron fuerzas con el Flex los corredores de Ofertbikes, Fenavin y Fuenlabrada. Junto a Parra subió al podio en la tercera plaza Ángel Fuentes, que también se adjudicó el trofeo de primer Castellano-Leonés, mientras que el Flex-Fundación Alberto Contador logró la general por equipos.
