Samuel de Pablo
Biography
The Madrid-born cyclist comes from the world of football. Football was the sport that he started to practice in his beginnings, although more as a recreational activity than a competitive one. When he was asked to join a local club, he ended up choosing to ride a bicycle. Formed in the Galapagar Cycling Club, one of the most veteran institutions in the Community of Madrid given its birth in 1972, following the successes of the ex-professional Anastasio Greciano, and also one of the most powerful on the track due to the existence of a velodrome of great fame in the municipality. De Pablo made the news in June 2019 for being one of the two riders who crashed head-on into a car in the middle of the competition, fortunately without consequences for the physical integrity of both, after a driver broke through the police cordon.
