This Valencian also started in the world of football in his village, Ayora. One day he joined the Club Ciclista Castillo de Ayora and little by little, with two or three outings per week, the bike was gaining weight in his day by day. “I ended up giving up football and dedicated myself exclusively to cycling. The first races I took part in I couldn’t finish them because they ended up bending me. In my first year as a cadet I was only able to compete in eight races because I had a very strong crash and was unable to run for more than three months. After that, with the support of my family, I came back with more enthusiasm and more will”, says Pablo himself, who this year 2019 competed in the Port Hotels-Grupo Sime, a team from Alfaz del Pi. He does not have much cycling background in his family. “I only have one family member who is a cyclist and I go out with him from time to time on the weekends”.
