Miguel Ramos, second position in a Circuito del Guadiana from which EOLO-KOMETA comes out leading the team overall of the Copa

55º Circuito del Guadiana
Don Benito – Don Benito (85,7 km)

Miguel Ramos from Madrid finished second in the junior race of the Circuito del Guadiana, third round of the Spanish Cup of the category, in a race in which he played the victory in a sprint with Hugo Aguilar and with Miguel Ángel Molina, older rider of the youth structure of the Foundation who finally was the winner. Iker Bonillo returns to lead the tournament, while by teams the EOLO-KOMETA Cycling Team youth rider is in the lead.

Ramos and the Entrenamientociclismo.com riders Molina and Aguilar stood out in the lead of the race in the terrain after the second and last pass by the ascent to the wall of Magacela, coming from a group of about ten units that had regrouped after the last ascent to the great orographic difficulty of the route.

From there, Juan Pedro Lozano (Valverde Team) was still in the lead, the great protagonist of the day with a solo breakaway that managed to enjoy more than two and a half minutes over the peloton, and Marc Terrasa came third, once again very active on the first pass.

Ramos, Molina and Aguilar, well matched in the collaboration, consolidated a gap of about 50 seconds in the last fifteen kilometres. A little more than 40 seconds later, a first bunch in which Samuel de Pablo and Marc Terrasa rode in the first positions to finish sixth and ninth: three places in the top ten for the Foundation’s youth structure.
