Almost ten kilometres of time trial in Pozaldez, a fundamental semi-stage in the return of the Vuelta a Valladolid of the category

XXIX Vuelta Ciclista a Valladolid
From 23rd to 25th July

Samuel de Pablo from Madrid, Joel Díaz from Catalonia, Lucas Guillermo from La Rioja, David Puente from Cantabria, Marc Terrasa from the Balearic Islands and Hungarian rider Gergo Magyar make up Guillermo Gutiérrez’s squad for the stage race in Pucelan lands, another of the classics on the calendar, organised by the Velo Club Delicias de Valladolid.

The Vuelta a Valladolid is, in a way, a free verse as far as stage races for young riders are concerned. If in other races there is always a day in which the mountains have a partial or total protagonist role, in the Vuelta a Valladolid this weight is undoubtedly given to the time trial.

It is the individual fight against time that marks, or has more capacity to do so, the evolution of the race, although this does not mean that the absence of big mountains in the provincial geography means a total absence of climbs. Small climbs, many of them the ones that animate the Memorial Ángel Lozano, which in recent years has been scoring points for the Elite and U23 Spanish Cup, will be present in the final stage. And there is always the option of the wind.

The stages.
23 July: Valladolid – Valladolid (114.8 km).

24 July (a): La Seca – Pozaldez (9.7 km CRI).

24 July (b): Olmedo – Olmedo (66 km).

25th July: Valladolid – Valladolid (120 km).
